Green Science Western LLC

Hybrid Microwave Plasma Gasification

Turning carbon-containing waste into hydrogen and advanced materials.

Green Science Western LLC evaluates microwave plasma gasification technology for U.S. industrial, municipal, and infrastructure opportunities.

Who we are

Industrial innovation. One conversion platform.

Green Science Western LLC focuses on evaluating Hybrid Microwave Plasma Gasification and waste-to-hydrogen opportunities in the United States.

Our approach connects feedstock characterization, research, engineering, and potential industrial applications. Suitability requires testing, validation, and permitting.

The technology

How HMPG works

Microwave energy generates a stable, high-temperature plasma that drives thermal conversion of prepared feedstocks into a hydrogen-rich process gas and solid carbon fractions.

  1. 01

    Feedstock preparation

    Sizing, drying & conditioning

  2. 02

    Plasma conversion

    Microwave-driven thermal gasification

  3. 03

    Gas conditioning

    Cleanup & design-dependent reforming

  4. 04

    Product recovery

    Hydrogen-rich gas & carbon fractions

  5. 05

    Downstream processing

Optional purification, materials, chemicals & energy

Conceptual engineering flow. Configuration depends on feedstock, product targets, and site engineering. Tail-gas recycling and tar reforming require system-specific verification.

Electrically driven, precisely controlled

Because plasma is generated electrically rather than by combustion, process conditions can be tuned to feedstock and product targets. Performance for any specific application is established through testing and engineering.

Waste-to-value

Applications across hard-to-manage materials

01

Woody biomass

Forestry residues and wood waste as prepared, consistent feedstock.

02

Waste tires

A carbon-rich stream with potential for gas and carbon recovery.

03

Agricultural residues

Crop and processing residues, subject to preparation and testing.

04

Municipal solid waste

Pre-sorted, prepared fractions evaluated case by case.

05

Selected plastics

Certain carbon-containing plastics, depending on composition.

06

Feedstock evaluation

Every stream requires characterization before engineering.
